Listo vs 24/7 Software verdict
Pick 24/7 Software if your gap is incident records, security patrols and maintenance across a large venue. Pick Listo if your gap is the minutes between a guest asking and a staff member owning the request. Both count as hospitality software, but they answer different questions on event day.
The verdict
24/7 Software runs the command center, Listo runs the service floor
One product is built around incidents: a fight in section 112, a lost child, an alarm at gate screening. Each becomes a record that a command center dispatches and analyzes later. For safety and liability work, that is the deeper product.
The other is built around service requests: more ice for a suite, the check for a cabana, towels for room 1412. The request skips the desk, lands on an available staffer's wrist and closes with a timestamp. Plenty of large venues need both jobs done.
We make Listo, so weigh our framing accordingly. Every 24/7 Software detail below comes from its public site at the time of writing, as of October 2026.
Hotel operations software at a glance
Buyers who search for hotel operations software, or type the name as 247 Software, often find both products on one shortlist. Neither is a property management system, the tool that holds reservations and guest records (see property management systems explained), and neither replaces one.
Based on each company's public site, as of October 2026. Not its focus means not described there, not impossible.
| Capability | Listo | 24/7 Software |
|---|---|---|
| Primary category | Real-time service execution | Venue incident, security and operations management |
| Industries named | Stadiums, hotels, resorts, casinos, entertainment venues, campuses | Sports, entertainment (incl. casinos), attractions, college athletics and universities, convention centers, airports |
| How guests ask | QR code scan, no app | Text, WhatsApp or web form |
| Request routing | Smart Dispatch to the available staffer | Command center dispatches from a color-coded queue |
| Ownership step | Green check or red X, then Complete | Assigned and completed times logged |
| Unanswered requests | Reminders, then escalation to management | Text and email reminders, plus escalation workflows announced in 2026 |
| Incident command & mapping | Not its focus | Yes |
| Guard tours | Not its focus | Yes, RFID checkpoints |
| Lost and found | Not its focus | Yes, with item matching |
| Work orders & preventive maintenance | Not its focus | Yes (CMMS) |
| Staff devices | Mobile, tablet, desktop, Samsung Galaxy smartwatch | iOS and Android app, tablet, offline mode |
| Published pricing | Starting at $29.99 per active user per month | Not published |
The split is plain. One product covers more ground, the other goes deeper on a single moment. Even where they overlap, in request tracking, the models differ: a central dispatch queue against direct-to-staff routing.
What 24/7 Software does
24/7 Software is a venue operations platform for incident management, security and facilities, built to document everything that happens in a large building. Based on its public site as of October 2026, it rests on what it calls the ACDA principle: awareness, communication, documentation and analysis.
Most modules have real depth:
- Incident management with a dispatch queue, live mapping and a Communicator app for iOS and Android that works offline.
- Conversations, which lets fans text or WhatsApp the command center, with short codes that route messages to separate inboxes.
- A CMMS with work orders, approval chains, preventive maintenance, inspections, inventory alerts and asset history down to warranties.
- CheckPoint guard tours with RFID checkpoints and randomized routes.
- Lost and found that matches found items to lost claims automatically.
- Request Tracker, Task Manager and analytics dashboards that refresh at least every five minutes.
Integrations stand out. The site lists video management, weather alerting, ticketing, weapons and drone detection and body cameras, so a gate alarm can open an incident with video attached. No pricing is published, and buyers request a demo.
Sports dominate the customer list. The company says it is implemented in more than 80 percent of North America's four major sports leagues and names The O2 Arena, Lord's Cricket Ground and SoFi Stadium among its customers. Hotels do not appear as an industry on its site.
What Listo does on a live event day
Listo gets each service request to the right available person and proves it was finished. That is service request management for the floor, not a system of record for the building.
Picture a sold-out arena at the second intermission. A guest in suite 24 scans the QR code on the counter, no app needed, and asks for ice and the dessert cart. Smart Dispatch sends it to the attendant assigned to that row. She taps the green check on her Samsung Galaxy smartwatch, delivers, and taps Complete. Had she let it sit, a reminder would fire and the request would escalate to a manager. A live dashboard shows every pending, in-progress and completed request.
Staff raise requests too, from a phone, tablet or desktop, and every one feeds exportable analytics on response times and high-demand areas. Our stadium operations guide covers those event-day jobs in more detail.
At TD Garden, operated by Delaware North, Listo reports 1,472 completed guest requests across 90 premium suites in six months, at an average response time under 5 minutes, per the TD Garden case study. That is one venue's result, not a promise for yours.
Our own limits: no incident command center, no live mapping, no CMMS and no guard tours.
Hotel task management software compared
Only one of the two markets itself to hotels. Listo lists hotels, resorts and casinos as a core market, while 24/7 Software names no hotel or resort vertical on its public site.
That does not rule 24/7 Software out of a hospitality building. Its Request Tracker has housekeeping and suite categories, assigned staff see their requests in its mobile app, and its CMMS is capable. The question for a hotel GM is fit. Hotel task management software has to absorb a 3 PM check-in wave, a full pool deck and a housekeeping team spread over 12 floors, staffed by people who never sit at a terminal.
How a towel request moves, per each public site as of October 2026
| Step | Listo | 24/7 Software |
|---|---|---|
| Guest asks | Scans a QR code, no app | Texts, or fills in a web form |
| Lands first | With the available staffer | In the dispatch queue |
| Nobody responds | Reminder, then a manager | Text and email reminders, plus escalation workflows announced in 2026 |
Great Wolf Lodge Niagara shows the pattern. A manual flag system missed requests across 24 private cabanas in an 80,000-square-foot water park. With a QR code in each cabana, Listo reports a 30 percent increase in cabana service revenue and 1 to 2 minute response times, per the Great Wolf Lodge case study.
We have a 4.6 rating of five for satisfaction. We have a great response time, anywhere between a minute and two minutes. This system, Listo, really did just kinda clean up all of our deficiencies with our cabana service.Eric Van Bussel, Director of Food & Beverage, Great Wolf Lodge Niagara

When 24/7 Software is the right tool
Choose 24/7 Software when the problem is risk, documentation and building upkeep across a large public venue, especially if you need to:
- Run a command center that logs, dispatches and maps every incident, with records that hold up when a liability claim arrives months later.
- Schedule guard patrols with RFID checkpoints and unpredictable routes.
- Let cameras, weather alerts and gate screening open incidents on their own.
- Manage work orders, preventive maintenance and spare parts in a real CMMS.
- Log and return lost items with a full record.
Maintenance is where it clearly wins. A property shopping for hotel maintenance software or hotel work order software wants asset history, warranty records, approval chains and planned maintenance, and 24/7 Software markets all of them, though its CMMS page names venues and facilities, not hotels. Listo can carry the first report of a leak. Asset lifecycle and parts inventory are not its focus.
Its own case studies report results as well: Lord's Cricket Ground saw a 70 percent improvement in dispatch times, according to a 24/7 Software case study.
When Listo is the right tool
Choose Listo when guests are waiting and the staff who can help are spread across the building. It works as a staff communication app with a purpose: every message is a request with an owner, a status and an end time. A general employee communication app built for announcements asks staff to watch a channel. Listo puts the one request that matters on one wrist.
Choose Listo if
- Let guests in suites, cabanas or rooms request service with one QR scan.
- Send each request straight to the available staffer, not through a dispatcher or radio relay.
- Get an accept or decline, a Complete tap and escalation when nobody answers.
- Run a hotel, resort or casino floor.
- Pay starting at $29.99 per active user per month, with unlimited locations.
Choose 24/7 Software if
- Incident documentation and liability defense come first.
- You need guard tour records.
- You want cameras and gate screening to open incidents.
- You need a full CMMS for assets and parts.
Across 50+ partnered Live Nation amphitheaters, Listo reports staff handling 5,000+ service requests a month at an average response time under 5 minutes. For Delaware North at American Family Field, it reports 0 missed restock orders. Across all customers, Listo reports an average 15 percent reduction in monthly labor hours, a platform-wide average, not a guaranteed outcome. See Listo for stadiums & arenas for venue setups.
Running both platforms in one building
A large venue can run both, as long as nobody expects them to share data. Listo publishes no integration with 24/7 Software, so plan for two systems side by side.
A workable split for an arena: the command center keeps incidents, patrols, work orders and lost and found. Listo handles service requests in the suites and on the concourse. If a request turns out to be an incident, such as a guest who needs medical help, staff hand it to the command center through its usual channel.
Hotel management software, meaning the PMS, keeps the reservation and the folio either way. Even the label venue management software is loose: 24/7 Software applies it to its own operations platform.
Underneath sits the choice from our dispatch desk vs direct routing comparison. Trained dispatchers earn their place for emergencies and complex jobs. Routine requests, the ice, the towels, the spill in section 118, move faster when they go straight to the person who can act.
Listo vs 24/7 Software FAQ
What is 24/7 Software used for?
Stadiums, arenas, attractions, convention centers and airports use 24/7 Software to manage incidents, security, maintenance and guest requests from one command center. Its modules include incident management with live mapping, text and WhatsApp messaging, a CMMS, guard tours, lost and found and analytics. As of October 2026, its public site does not list hotels as an industry.
Is Listo built for stadiums or hotels?
Both. Listo serves stadiums and arenas, hotels, resorts and casinos, entertainment venues and enterprise campuses. The job is the same everywhere: a guest or staff member raises a request in one tap, and an available team member accepts it, completes it and leaves a timestamp. Published results include TD Garden, Live Nation amphitheaters and Great Wolf Lodge Niagara.
Can Listo connect to an existing operations platform?
No named integration is published, including with 24/7 Software. Listo is designed to run alongside current operations, using QR codes and familiar devices, with no complex infrastructure change. A venue can keep its existing system for incidents or maintenance and add Listo for live service requests, each holding its own records.
